Yin Training is offered as a continuing education credit to registered RYTs, but is also open to persons serious about developing their yoga knowledge, and understanding the specific benefits and approaches to a complementary yin practice.
This 10 day training (two weekends with an evening yin class during the week), with additional, independent homework to satisfy practicum hours will provide you with a deep understanding of yin, Indian tantric and Chinese taoist traditions as they apply to practice, as well as focused, anatomical study of yin-based asana. Relevant emphasis also on chakras, koshas, vayus, mudras and pranayama in the context of yin practice and instruction.
You will learn how to structure and sequence yin classes with modifications, adjustments and props to ensure your students experience a deeply beneficial and safe practice.
